Yuyang Zhang is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Portland, Oregon, originally from Wuhan, China. He studied Hospitality and Tourism Management at Purdue University before earning an MFA in Visual Studies from Pacific Northwest College of Art. Zhang's work delves into diasporic experiences, queer identity, and political themes, utilizing historic propaganda and pop culture iconography. His art has been showcased in both solo and group exhibitions internationally, including at Blue Sky Gallery, Portland, and Fuller Rosen Gallery, Philadelphia. Zhang's contributions are recognized in prominent collections like Soho House Portland and featured in major publications.
